Two Days Of Referrals

I was so surprised to get that news. October 25 & 26 of 2005 received their referrals.

The slow process is really wishing we went with an agency which deals in other international adoptions. I don't know if we would change countries, but it gives us an option.

I just hope the 2 days doesn't become a trend. I am actually hoping for a double month referral.

Good grief...I know, I know!! I don't drink-but I'm considering taking it up-lol.

Yes, I like your attitude about a double referral month; although I'm doubtful.

I do expect things to "pick back up" until they hit March 2006 referrals. You know, right before us!!

Your daughter is waiting for you too, the difference is that she doesn't even know it. We received our referral 3 months after we were "supposed to", and ironically, her referral pictures and info were waiting at CCAA for 3-4 months before we got her referral. No one really knows why.
I know it sounds logical to go with a different country if that will get you a child faster, but really, YOUR child awaits you in China.
I can't wait to see that beautiful referral picture.

I hope you get your iwsh for the double batch this month. With an LID of 10/28/05, this last batch really stung. We will all see our child's face someday. Hopefully it will come sooner rather than much later. :)

I hope that things are starting to move along a little bit better! Its so sad that there are so many children in the world wishing for good homes and it is so difficult to connect them with good families.
